Bazaar for Astro + Shopify connects the vibrant Bazaar fashion storefront to Shopify’s Storefront API, combining Astro’s performance with Shopify’s proven commerce infrastructure. Products, collections, and variants are fetched from your Shopify store via the GraphQL Storefront API, while the cart flows through Shopify’s hosted checkout for secure, PCI-compliant payment processing. When Shopify credentials are not configured, the theme falls back to local JSON data for development and preview.

The storefront retains all of Bazaar’s signature features — 30+ pages, 49 components, bold gradients, Quick View modals, product gallery with hover zoom and lightbox, wishlist, compare, product reviews, and a free shipping progress bar in the cart drawer. RTL support via logical CSS properties and a client-side i18n system for English, Arabic, and French make it ready for global fashion brands. Dark and light mode switching is built in, and every page is fully responsive with mobile bottom navigation.

Shopify handles the heavy lifting of inventory management, payment processing, shipping calculations, and order fulfillment, while Bazaar’s Astro frontend gives you complete control over the shopping experience.
